Yes! You can now add attachments to email templates (see here) or attach files to individual emails before you send them off:
However, we usually recommend using links to send a campaign prospectus or event invite in your emails, rather than attachments. Here are some reasons why:
- If you later update your document, anyone who accesses the link in an old email will always have only the most up-to-date version. (This is great for adding new content to a prospectus, or just fixing an embarrassing typo!)
- Even the free document hosting websites (i.e., Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) now offer basic built-in analytics on links, such as who is clicking on them. Some services even let you see how long people are spending on each page, and other helpful insights. This can be very helpful when thinking through improvements to the document, as well as follow up strategy.
