We have seen a variety of successful approaches to leveraging the technology of CallTime.AI, in conjunction with NGP. NGP typically serves as a campaign's main CRM (contact relationships manager), with the ability to house a variety of data relating to the many people who make up your campaign. CallTime.AI is specifically focused on individual fundraising-- and while it can store a variety of data about your donors and prospective donors, it combines that user-generated data with automated donor research (i.e., giving history, new phone numbers, social media data), analytics (i.e., donor score, recommended ask amount), and individual outreach tools (i.e., power dialer, email and text).
There may be data in your NGP database that you wish to move into your CallTime.AI account, so that you can use it to run searches and build call lists, and/or so it is listed on your digital call sheets. We have built a simple NGP Importer to allow you to easily pass that relevant data from your NGP account into your CallTime.AI account. Here's how:
- Export a "Contact Report" from NGP, that includes everyone you wish to include in your CallTime.AI account. Be sure to include your NGP Contact ID in your export, and then import this report into CallTime.AI, like any other import. Be sure the NGP Contact ID is imported.
- You can now navigate to our NGP Importer, which will allow you to import several other types of NGP reports and use the Contact ID to match them to contacts in your CallTime.AI database. Be sure you are logged into the correct account, and then use this link to navigate to your NGP importer: https://beta.calltime.ai/import/ngp
Using these reports, you can bulk import call logs, contact codes (tags), contact notes, contributions, and pledges. When you're building your NGP reports, these are the columns you should export (an NGP Contact ID and Name is required for all NGP imports):
- Call Log Report
- NGP Contact ID
- First and Last Name
- Date of Call
- Call Status
- Ask Amount
- Ask Notes
- Result of Ask
- Notes from Call
- Caller
- Contact Codes (Tags)
- NGP Contact ID
- First and Last Name
- Contact Code Names
- Contact Notes
- NGP Contact ID

Please note: if you are putting the name of the contact in a single column (rather than separating into two separate First and Last name columns) please be sure the format of the name is: First Last. For example: Barack Obama (not Obama, Barack).
